Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the vigildeck.com website and the VigilDeck platform. This document is a starting template and should be reviewed by legal counsel before production use. By using the service you agree to these terms.

The service

VigilDeck is a monitoring and activity-intelligence platform for WordPress. It records and reports changes across your connected sites. It is not a management tool and does not apply updates, backups or other changes to your sites on your behalf.

Accounts

You are responsible for the security of your account, for the accuracy of the information you provide, and for the activity of users you invite. You must enable reasonable security measures, including two-factor authentication where available.

Plans and billing

Paid plans are billed per monitored site as described on the pricing page. Team seats are free. Fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable except where required by law. You may upgrade, downgrade or cancel at any time; downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service, including by attempting to disrupt it, access data that is not yours, or connect sites you are not authorized to monitor. The free WordPress connector plugin is provided under its own license on WordPress.org.

Data and ownership

You retain ownership of the data your sites send to VigilDeck. You grant us the permissions necessary to store and display that data to provide the service. Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.

Warranties and liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, VigilDeck is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the preceding twelve months.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the service or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
